Show HN: Obasanjo’s Son Backs Osinbajo For Presidency, Buhari’s Aide Reveals
President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide has revealed that Olujonwo, son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, has vowed to back Yemi Osinbajo if he joins the presidential race.
Naijacrumb reports that this was made known in a post on Facebook on Saturday by Buhari’s Special Adviser on Political Matters, Babafemi Ojudu.
Ojodu, who works in the office of the Vice President, disclosed that Olujonwo visited him on Friday to register his wish that Osinbajo joins the 2023 race to succeed President Buhari.
He disclosed that Obasanjo’s son vowed to join Osinbajo’s campaign team if he decided to announce his presidential ambition.

“Olujonwo Obasanjo, son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, visited yesterday (Friday),” he said.
“He too, like many others, came to register his wish and aspiration that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo throws his hat in the rings for the 2023 contest.
“Smart and brimming with ideas, he promised that if Osinbajo heeds the call of Nigerians he will be willing and ready to volunteer to join the campaign train.
“Thank you Olu. I will pass your message across.”
