66th Grammys: Tyla beats Burna Boy, Davido, others to win maiden African category

South African singer, Tyla has made history as the first-ever winner of the inaugural Best African Music Performance category at the Grammys.
Tyla’s ‘Water’ defeated songs by Nigerian singers: Davido’s ‘Unavailable,’ Asake’s ‘Amapiano,’ Burna Boy’s ‘City Boys,’ and Ayra Starr’s ‘Rush’ to clinch the award.
